I'm a 2010 graduate of Miami University, with a degree in Strategic Communications and Interactive Media Studies. Miami likes to make things sound fancy, so let me help you translate my degree: Public Relations and Media (social, mobile, production, etc). My AmeriCorps VISTA term is up in June, and I am searching far and wide for a career that I can use my talents and my passions to help change the world. If I can't change the world, I at least aim to change a community. Or impact one person in a really big way.
Some inspirations that define me:
She had a conference with her angels before breakfast. Decided how to spend her day: Climb trees. Run fast. Sing at the top of her lungs. Do the dishes tomorrow.
Today I saw the future. She was sitting in a lawn chair in the center of the road with a sign that said “Don’t go this way.” She doesn’t always take the direct approach. She might camouflage herself behind traffic jams, alarm clocks, burnt toast and deadlines causing the urban observer to believe she’s really not there. But no matter what, she always leaves a little trail of hope leading into her infinite arms.
